Andrew Sambuceto | The Artist Behind the IMage
Photography isn't what I do — it's who I am. It's my passion, my gift, and the lens through which I experience the world.
I'm Andrew Sambuceto, a fine art landscape photographer based in Canby, Oregon. For over 16 years, I've been waking before dawn, driving remote roads, and standing in whatever weather the Pacific Northwest throws at me — all in pursuit of one thing: the moment that most people will never see.
My work is rooted in two of Oregon's most extraordinary landscapes: the wild, storm-battered Oregon Coast and the vast, silent high desert of Central Oregon. These aren't places you visit — they're places that get into your blood.
What draws me to landscape photography is everything all at once: a deep love of the outdoors, the technical puzzle of chasing perfect light, and the profound satisfaction of sharing what I've witnessed with the world. A king tide crashing against a lighthouse. The first blush of alpenglow over a lava field. The kind of light that only lasts 90 seconds and never comes back exactly the same way.
My style moves between the dramatic and the serene — sometimes both in the same image. Moody skies and crashing surf. Minimalist desert stillness. An ethereal quality of light that makes a familiar place feel like another world.
I am beyond meticulous about quality. From capture to final print, every decision I make is in service of one goal: producing an image that moves you the way the real thing moved me.
My fine art prints are produced on premium metal — a medium I chose because nothing else comes close to rendering the luminosity and depth of a Pacific Northwest landscape. The contrast is richer. The highlights glow. And unlike paper, these prints are built to last decades without fading.
Every limited edition print is personally signed and produced in a controlled, numbered run. Once they're gone, they're gone.
My photography has been featured on KGW News Portland, where my landscape images were selected to represent the beauty of the Pacific Northwest to a regional audience.
Whether you're a collector, an interior designer, or someone who simply wants to bring the spirit of Oregon into your space — I'd love for my work to find a home on your walls.
