Chasing the Light in the Pacific Northwest

For me, photography has never been just about documenting a place; it is about capturing a feeling. Based in the Pacific Northwest, I spend my time chasing the dynamic, often chaotic elements that define this region. From the explosive power of winter King Tides on the coast to the silent, starry expanses of the high desert, my goal is to frame the untamed beauty of the world around us.

The Philosophy: Preparation Meets Serendipity

The core of my portfolio is built on a foundation of patience. Capturing a lightning strike illuminating an abandoned homestead, or a one-in-a-million meteor streaking over a shipwreck and bioluminescent waves, requires hours of scouting, waiting in the dark, and braving the elements. I pride myself on authentic captures; I want my collectors to know that the awe-inspiring moments hanging on their walls are real, single-exposure events, not digital composites.

The Artwork: Bringing the Wild Indoors

I believe that a photograph isn't truly finished until it is printed. Because my work focuses so heavily on deep contrast, glowing light, and raw energy, I print my limited-edition pieces exclusively on ChromaLuxe Aluminum. This medium allows the deep shadows of a storm and the bright luminescence of the Milky Way to interact with the light in your room, giving the artwork a stunning, near three-dimensional depth.

When you invest in one of my limited-edition prints, you aren't just buying a photograph. You are bringing a piece of the wild, unyielding frontier into your home.
