“Rust and stardust”.
A fleeting moment where the ocean, the earth, and the cosmos aligned.
Photography is often a game of patience, but sometimes, the universe aligns in ways you simply cannot plan. I arrived at the skeletal remains of the Peter Iredale with a vision: to align the rusty iron of the shipwreck with the rising core of the Milky Way. I hoped for a clear sky, but I was gifted a miracle.
As the shutter opened for a 15-second exposure, the surf unexpectedly lit up with the electric blue glow of bioluminescence. At that exact moment, a meteor streaked across the atmosphere, balancing the composition perfectly. Even the lighting on the hull is a happy accident—illuminated not by artificial studio gear, but by the headlights of a passing car on the distant beach.
The Prints:
Limited Edition:
Each image in this collection is released in a strictly limited run of 200 total prints per size. Once an edition sells out, the master file is permanently retired from printing. This ensures that your artwork remains rare and holds its value as a true collector's piece.

They are printed on Fine Art Grade Paper that is 100% cotton fiber, acid-free, lignin-free, and optical brightener (OBA) free. They come ready to be framed/matted.
